A part of one of my dads sculptures on a nice blue background. I forgot how nature always seems to get in on the action, the lichens on this are almost completely covering the sculpture.

Just before I bought my D300 in 2008 I was doing a lot of photography of jewelery for Abigail Connell and I decided to purchase a 60mm 2.8 macro. I shot this on my old 6mp D70s which still sits on my shelf as a back up camera.

I think that this works. This is another taken from the first day that I had the D300. I’ve had it for just over 3 years now and have only shot 8593 frames with it.

This is from the first day that I had my D300, a camera I’ve always been a bit indifferent, not unhappy but indifferent towards and now Nikon has released the D4 at $6299.00. So every 3 years they can yank more money out of our pockets. I don’t plan to upgrade that high but a full frame DSLR like the next D700 might entice me. Or a digital back on a medium format system.

A picture taken about 16 years ago when my dad started installing these giant concrete faces which look a bit like cookies on the north hill of their property. Dug this up because it was taken with a Bronica SQA which relates to the Camera Crazy post of a few posts back.
